At a glance

This website is deliberately minimal. It sets no cookies, embeds no advertising or cross-site trackers, and uses Fathom Analytics only to understand aggregate website traffic. Site assets such as fonts are served from our own origin; the Fathom analytics script is loaded from Fathom's content delivery network.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on Vercel (Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When you visit the site, the hosting infrastructure automatically processes technical data: IP address, date and time of the request, requested resource, HTTP status, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, and user agent.

This processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in delivering the website securely and reliably (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log data is retained only for as long as it is technically necessary. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Vercel in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR; transfers to the United States are safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses. Privacy-friendly analytics

We use Fathom Analytics, a service operated by Conva Ventures Inc., to measure aggregate page views and understand how this website is used. The Fathom script does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies and does not follow visitors across different websites.

When a page is viewed, the request includes information about the page and referring website as well as the IP address and user agent automatically sent by the browser. Fathom processes the IP address and user agent temporarily to create salted, site-specific hashes that distinguish visits for up to 24 hours. Raw identifiers are not stored alongside browsing activity, and the daily hashes are deleted after their counting purpose is complete. Requests from visitors in the EU are routed through EU-based infrastructure using Fathom's EU Isolation.

Fathom processes this information on our behalf as a data processor. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate website usage and improving the site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can learn more in Fathom'sdata journey andprivacy policy.

The score counter

As a small homage to arcade games, this site keeps a cosmetic score counter in your browser's sessionStorage. It contains a single number, is never transmitted to us or anyone else, is not linked to your identity, and is deleted automatically when you close the tab. No tracking or profiling of any kind is connected to it.

Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the content of your message in order to handle your inquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for general correspondence). This data is deleted once the conversation is concluded, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
